The studies at IMLI will help me to make the highest contributions to our Government, especially to the State Maritime Administration where I am working. The knowledge received as a maritime lawyer will assist me in dealing with the problems which arise from the lack of experts in maritime field and also will present me the chance to ensure effective implementation of international conventions through the national legislation of the Republic of Azerbaijan. By getting acquainted with all aspects of the maritime law I now have the chance to contribute to the discussions aimed to successfully resolving the issues relating to the legal status of the Caspian Sea. I will also efficiently use this opportunity not only locally, but also internationally when I represent my country during international meetings.
